What this studio is for
Arnauld Miles Art is not intended to become an online art store. Five rules hold it to that.
01The work comes first
Nothing is printed on the front of a piece except the work itself and a small signature. No QR code, no logo, no edition number, no price. Everything that sells the piece lives on the back of it.
02Small editions, closed forever
Twenty-five pieces, then the edition ends. Not reissued at a different size, not reopened when demand appears. Scarcity that can be reversed is not scarcity.
03Made where we live
Printing, mounting, framing and finishing all happen in Bali, within an hour of the studio. We can walk to our own production line, and we do.
04Seen at full size before it is bought
Every work is installed in a villa gallery at full scale. A piece that only works on a phone screen is not finished.
05Every piece can prove itself
A serial number, a certificate, a database record and a scannable plate. Ten years from now the piece should still be able to say what it is.
